We hosted investors representing a range of leading institutions in Indian Capital Markets at Quorum Mumbai for our Private Compass event: an evening dedicated to deepening understanding of how private markets actually work. The depth of the conversation reflected the caliber of the room, moving well beyond the basics into how private markets invert the conventional risk-return relationship, complete a portfolio when paired with public markets, and reward investors for taking on illiquidity.

We also spoke candidly about the road ahead. As private markets mature as an asset class in India, the industry needs to build the same foundation of regulation, transparency, and investor trust that public markets have spent decades earning.
